Newcastle United fullback Jose Enrique says an Andy Carroll-type striker would not found in Spain.
Enrique reckons the 21-year-old Geordie is uniquely British.
He said: "In Spain there is no one like Andy Carroll, you just don't see players like him.
"He is a typical English striker and at the moment his confidence is incredibly high. His heading ability is also so impressive - it's so hard to stop him.
"For English football he is perfect. The last few games he has been the man to get us the points.
"He is being mentioned for England. People compare him to Peter Crouch but for me Andy is better, nothing against Crouch, but he is just so good in the air.
"English defenders have a problem handling him so think what it will be like for those on the continent who have never seen or come up against anything like that."
