Newcastle United are favourites for Wolfsburg attacker Karim Ziani.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle are understood to be leading the chase for Algeria World Cup midfielder Ziani who is surplus to requirements at Wolfsburg.
Everton and Birmingham have also been linked to Ziani although Wolfsburg would like to recoup around £2m for a player they paid Marseille £9m for 18 months ago.
Monaco and Stuttgart are also interested in the two-time former Algerian Player of the Year.
However Ziani favours a move to the Premier League - and a deal is likely in the upcoming weeks.
