Newcastle United must move quickly to sign Metz striker Diafra Sakho.

The 24 year-old Senegal international has been watched regularly this season by Toon chief scout Graham Carr.

However, Newcastle will have to act quickly, with VfL Wolfsburg also interested in Sakho, says Kicker.

Sakho has 16 goals in 30 games this season for Ligue 2Metz.
