Newcastle United have seen their move for NAC Breda midfielder Nemanja Gudelj stall.
The Mirror says Gudelj's £800,000 switch to Newcastle is hanging in the balance - because his dad has become his boss at NAC Breda.
Toon boss Alan Pardew has been eyeing up a swoop for the Serbian midfielder after having him watched over recent weeks.
But his planned move for Gudelj in the January transfer window now looks certain to be put on hold at least until the summer.
Gudelj, 21, is all set to stay put because he wants to help his father Nebojsa - a former NAC player - make a success of his new job.
