Newcastle United are chasing Genk defender Kara Mbodj.
The Mail on Sunday says Newcastle are watching the stopper ahead of the summer market.
The 6ft 4in midfielder can play centre-back too and has attracted enquiries from West Ham, Everton and Hull in recent months.
Genk want £8million for the 25-year-old Senegal international.
