Newcastle United are exploring the prospect of re-signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
The Toon previously had Toney on their books between 2015 and 2018, but he made just four senior appearances for the club before moving to Peterborough.
Since then, Toney has gone from strength to strength, and he finished as Brentford's top scorer last term, netting 12 top-flight goals as Thomas Frank's team avoided relegation with ease.
The Bees want to keep hold of him, and he still has three years left on his contract at the club, but The Sun says an offer in the region of £30million could be too tempting for Brentford to turn down.
