Feyenoord defender Daryl Janmaat is expected to sign for Newcastle United today.
The Evening Chronicle says Janmaat's move to Newcastle has been delayed by 24 hours after the Holland international right-back was deemed too ill to travel.
He has agreed terms with the Magpies and a deal has been struck with Feyenoord.
Janmaat's agent Rob Jansen believes that the player is now only a positive medical away from becoming a Toon player.
