Newcastle United defender Dan Burn joked that he is yet to get his suit measured for the Carabao Cup final.

The Magpies are preparing to take on Manchester United in the final at Wembley on Sunday.

Newcastle do have all week to prepare for the game, while the Red Devils have a match against Barcelona in the Europa League on Thursday.

Speaking to NUFC TV, Burn admitted they've been avoiding thinking about the cup final: “The suit has not been measured.

“I'm not sure we are wearing suits to be fair, but yeah, it's going to be a huge game.

“I think it's only natural that it is in the back of your mind. We've got games that we've been really focused on. I was proud of the lads (during) the West Ham game because, after that cup game in midweek, I think it was quite hard to pick yourself up and get motivated.

“But yeah, it's gonna be a huge weekend. Even driving in, a guy pulled up by the traffic lights, pulled his window down and was chatting about it. I've had to be ruthless with tickets but I'm happy I have my family sorted."
