Newcastle United are closing on a deal for Nancy left-back Massadio Haidara.
The Evening Chronicle says the 20-year-old is hoping to complete a move to Tyneside in the next 24 hours according to reports in France.
A £2.9million deal for the French Under-20 star is thought to have been agreed for a player that will provide competition for Davide Santon at left-back.
