Newcastle United are confident keeping hold of Yohan Cabaye.

PSG coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed his interest - and also Tottenham's - this week.

The Evening Chronicle says both director of football Joe Kinnear and Mike Ashley are comfortable the position they find themselves in.

Cabaye is still under contract until 2016 and if he did want to leave he would have to hand in a written transfer request.
