Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew rates West Ham United as the best performers of the summer market.
Newcastle meet the Hammers today.
"I think West Ham signed, pound for pound, the best signings of the summer," said Pardew, referencing the likes of Enner Valencia, Alex Song and Diafra Sakho.
"I think Sam has taken the club forward this year in terms of their style of play. With the options he has I feel they're in for a big season, and I felt that in the summer."
