Newcastle boss Pardew reluctant to sell Cisse, Marveaux

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew faces a battle to keep hold of Papiss Cisse and Sylvain Marveaux.

The Daily Express says the pair have been linked with January moves having found themselves overlooked in favour of Pardew's favoured attacking trio of Loic Remy, Yoan Gouffran and Hatem Ben Arfa recently.

The Magpies insist that they don't want either player to leave, with Cisse especially backed to recapture the form he showed in his first six months at the club, but that attitude may change if substantial bids are received for the pair in the upcoming transfer window.
