Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is ignoring sale rumours for Yohan Cabaye.

The midfielder has been linked with Manchester United and PSG.

Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "It'll always go on around quality players like him, like with Rooney and Ronaldo.

"It's part and parcel of being a big player. Yohan had a couple of special moments.

"It showed his quality."
