Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has warned England to be wary of France midfielder Yohan Cabaye ahead of their Euro2012 opener.

Pardew was delighted with Cabaye's form for Toon last season.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "We know the threat he carries, and he'll be more than a match for anyone in the tournament.

"Yohan playing makes the game all the more interesting."
