Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has urged fans to get behind England at the Euros.
It was Pardew who led the calls for Roy Hodgson to get the England job some weeks before he was finally appointed ahead of the favourite Harry Redknapp.
And, despite English fans going in with the lowest expectations ahead of a tournament in decades, Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "England have got a chance, like any team in the tournament. Hopefully, we'll do well in it."
