Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has warned Aston Villa off winger James Milner.

Villa chief O'Neill was preparing a £6m swoop after landing ex-England U-21 teammate Steve Sidwell.

But Keegan took Milner to one side and told him he would not be leaving and was a key part of his plans.
