Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has no doubts over Steve Harper as the goalkeeper fills in for injured No1 Shay Given.

"Now Stevie's got his chance over the next few weeks," Keegan told the Evening Chronicle. "He's got his chance to be in there, and make a case.

"I thought he did very well at Liverpool. He couldn't do anything about the first goal, and he kept the score down a little bit with a couple of great saves."

Keegan also said: "We have talked about it before Shay's injury and I will say it again - in Given and Steve Harper we have probably the best pair of goalkeepers in the Premier League."
