Newcastle boss Eddie Howe admits he's urging Jeff Hendrick and Isaac Hayden to leave.

Howe concedes the midfield pair aren't in his season plans.

He said, "Keeping players that aren't in the 25-man squad would be negative for them and for us.

"Hopefully, we can do what we need to do - and everybody gets what they need at the end of the window."
