Mike Williamson is expected to be offloaded by Newcastle United at the end of the season.

The Evening Chronicle says Williamson is one of the Newcastle United players set to be cleared out in the summer.

The defender isn't in manager John Carver's plans for next season and will be sold if he keeps his job.

Williamson, 31, has played over 150 times for Newcastle since signing from Portsmouth six years ago and has been a regular starter this season.
