Newcastle United boss John Carver admits he's having to avoid angry Toon fans on the motorway!

Carver revealed he had to take evasive action when a fan wanted to speak to him after the derby embarrassment last weekend.

Carver said: "This one guy drove up alongside me and wound his window down.

I thought, 'I'm not looking at him'.

"We were stuck in traffic and I let him drive off. Then I pulled in behind him so he couldn't get to me."
