The Newcastle United hierarchy have not yet given a clear-cut answer regarding the future of manager John Carver.
Carver endured a miserable spell as manager of Newcastle since succeeding Alan Pardew following the turn of the year and it was widely expected that the 50-year old would not be appointed on a permanent basis for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
However, it has been reported that the St James' Park brass have not yet made a decision of whether or not to retain Carver and his staff consisting of Steve Stone, Andy Woodman and Dave Watson for the 2015/16 season.
Carver has already begun his close-season break but managing director Lee Charnley has not yet held concrete discussions with him regarding his long-term future at the club.
