Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is ready to offer new deals to four senior players.
He wants to award new contracts to Newcastle stars Jonjo Shelvey, Matt Ritchie, Isaac Hayden and Martin Dubravka, says The Sun.
The Toon boss will make it a priority to tie down four of his most valuable players once the transfer window closes next week.
Among the four, Hayden, 24, looked most certain to quit St James' Park this summer because he wanted to move to be nearer his family down south.
But Bruce is confident the midfielder - who he managed at Hull - will be staying put and also wants to extend his deal which expires in two years' time.
