Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce admits he's no fan of social media.

Bruce's policy is to focus on the here and now, and not to absorb too much of what is said after matches.

When asked his views on social media, Bruce said: "I don't go anywhere near it.

"I suppose I'm the old dinosaur, but I don't go anywhere near social media.

"I hope that some of the players don't either."

Asked why he felt like that, Bruce said: "Look the one thing you can't do is control that.

"You can't look at some of that nonsense and I am sure they are wise enough not to get involved in it."
