Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is eager to get Ryan Fraser fully fit.

Bruce is confident that Newcastle will have a "different dimension" once Fraser and Callum Wilson get time to gel together.

In over four seasons at Bournemouth together Fraser and Wilson produced 46% of the 196 Premier League goals scored by the Cherries.

Bruce said, "Oh yeah, it was always on my mind how well they linked up together.

"I was aware of the stats of them both.

"They were huge together at Bournemouth, not so much last season, the one before.

"They enjoy playing together and have a link up together.

"At the end of the day, they are simply good players.

"The more good players you have life becomes a little bit easier."
