Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce is confident Claudio Cacapa will accept being hooked after 18 minutes in their 4-1 defeat by Portsmouth on Saturday.
Allardyce said: "Cacapa was looking a little laboured and that's why I made the early change.
"He has enough experience to accept the fact that he has made some mistakes."
