Newcastle United attacker Siem de Jong is unsure when he will recover from his thigh injury.
Having been out for four weeks now, de Jong says he's frustrated that he cannot help his side move away from the Premier League relegation zone, with Newcastle still seeking their first league win.
"It is difficult for me to say when I will be fit again," he told Ajax's official website.
"The fact I have been made vice-captain makes it even more annoying.
"It's a bothersome injury. I want to help the team and I'm unable to do so."
