Newcastle United's shortlist for a striker is said to have grown again.
The Magpies are very keen to add a top forward for manager Eddie Howe before the transfer window closes.
According to Tuttosport, Luis Muriel of Atalanta is admired at the St. James' Park club.
The forward, who shone against Manchester United in the Champions League last term, had 17 goals in 27 games last term.
He is also being monitored by Juventus, with Atalanta ready to cash in on him if a big enough offer arrives.
Newcastle may have to offer him higher wages if Juventus come into the frame, as they play Champions League football.
