The New York Red Bulls announced today that they signed midfielder Ruben Izquierdo. Izquierdo will be added to New York's roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.

"Ruben is a very interesting young player with a lot of potential. He is technically very good and his willingness to work and learn bodes well for his future development," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh.

Izquierdo, 20, joins the Red Bulls after playing for English side, Charlton Athletic since 2011.
