New York Red Bulls midfielder Dane Richards is attracting plenty of interest from clubs in Europe according to his agent.
Patrick McCabe knows his client is one of many Jamaican players causing a stir at the moment but although he set Major League Soccer alight during the 2010 season, the Red Bulls are not about to let him go anywhere.
"The profile of the Jamaican players is a pretty positive one right now," McCabe said. "The clubs respect them.
"He (Richards) has been the hottest player in the last third of the MLS (2010) season, along with Omar Cummings (Colorado Rapids).
"At this point, the Red Bulls is not willing to move him (Richards). Their goal is to keep the squad intact."
McCabe added that he had no intentions of linking Richards with any unsuspecting clubs in Europe although he did make it clear that the 27-year old is indeed keen on a move abroad.
"In respect to Dane, I have nothing to gain by throwing that out," he added. "Dane has made it no secret that he wants to go to Europe to play. People know who Dane is."
