Jorge Rojas has returned to the New York Red Bulls after a visa snafu kept him in Venezuela longer than anticipated.
Rojas left the Red Bulls on August 18th to take part in Venezuela's August 20th friendly against Syria, but after the match Rojas was denied a visa for transit back to New York by the US embassy in Caracas.
Daniel Feuerstein of CSRN reported that the US Embassy in Caracas requested Rojas be issued a new passport by Venezuela before granting him a new visa for return to the Red Bulls. The issue has apparently been resolved as Rojas was at Red Bulls training on Friday in New Jersey.
