Bob Bradley became the sixth American to become manager of a European club when he was recently appointed as boss of Norwegian outfit Stabaek.
The former USA and Egypt boss took the reins at the Hadderud Stadion on Friday to become the first US tactician to take the reins of a top flight club in Europe, joining two other current head coaches in the region.
Alongside Bradley is Dennis Lukens, who oversees Ukrainian second division side, as well as German-born former USA international David Wagner who is the boss of Borussia Dortmund II.
Other Americans who have managed in Europe include newly-appointed Columbus Crew boss Gregg Berhalter (Hammarby, Sweden 2011-2013), Joe Enochs (Osnabruck, Germany 2011), Brent Goulet (SV Elversberg, Germany 2004-2008) and Tim Hankinson (UMF Tindastoll, Iceland 1991).
