New Siena boss Giuseppe Iachini insists they can stay up.

The 48-year-old replaced Serse Cosmi at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

"I am here because I believe in this group and the ability of the squad," he told the club's official website.

"I want to thank the club for their confidence and I will repay them every day with my commitment to the team.

"There is great promise here. And with hard work and enthusiasm we can stay in Serie A."
