New Inter Milan striker Milito excited about Eto'o partnership

Diego Milito is delighted with his first weeks as an Inter Milan player.

The former Genoa forward said: "I would have been fine with Ibra, but I am certain I will be just as fine with Samuel Eto'o.

"It's easy to play football when you have great champions by your side."

Reflecting on his man of the match performance, Milito said: "They are friendly games, but a derby is always a derby and I am happy to have scored.

"To score a goal is always wonderful, even in friendlies and when I celebrated I was sincere."

Asked to explain the speed at which he has adapted to playing for Inter, Milito replied: "I am one of those guys who by nature adapts to the style of play of his team-mates, but I have to say playing for Inter is easy.

"The team have received me well. I am still missing a bit of understanding but I am happy. I come from another kind of football in Genoa. It's all easier here.

"I liked playing with Ibra because he is very good with the ball. Eto'o is one of those players who goes deeper, but there will be no problems. Of that I am sure.

"Eto'o is a great striker who has gone through many experiences. He is very quick and will give the team a great contribution."
