Diego Fagundez has avoided injury after being involved in a car accident.
The 19-year old New England Revolution attacking midfielder and his mother were in a car crash near the Gillette Stadium on Monday before they were both taken to hospital.
However, Fagundez posted on Twitter that he and his mother were fine with the Revs later confirming to MLSsoccer.com that precautionary X-rays took place at the hospital.
Uruguay-born Fagundez made 31 regular season appearances for the Revs this year but was an unused sub in the MLS Cup final loss to the LA Galaxy on the weekend.
