New England Revolution boss Heaps thrilled with Toja capture

Jay Heaps is excited about the arrival of Juan Toja after New England Revolution acquired him via the MLS allocation process.

The 27-year old Colombian attacking midfielder has now completed his return to Major League Soccer after his successful stint with FC Dallas in 2007 and 2008 and Heaps is thrilled about the flexibility he will bring to the Revs line-up.

"We want to have great versatility and we want to have great options," Heaps told MLSsoccer.com. "There's no doubt about it.

"Great engine, great engine, left-footer, can play wide left, wide right, can play defensive or attacking," Heaps said of Toja.

"He's dynamic in each of those positions in a different way."

Toja, who is a two-time MLS All-Star, joins the Revs after leaving Greek club Aris Thessaloniki following his spell with Romanian outfit Steaua Bucharest.
