Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will only turn his attention to new recruits after the club's FA Cup third-round tie with Newcastle United. "I've had chats with Mehmet (Dalman) and I've had chats with the scouting department here about the players that they've been scouting and looking at so I've got a list of them but that is not my priority now," Solskjaer said.
"My priority is the game (against Newcastle). Let's game the game out of the way and then I can look to see what we need because the players her have been top of the Championship four years.
"They're used to winning games. They've established themselves at the top of the Championship. We're in the Premier League because they have deserved it, because it's been a long-term plan so the players here are capable and good enough to be here."
Solskjaer was asked if there was any truth in speculation linking Cardiff City with moves for Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams and Blackpool winger Tom Ince.
"I can't say," Solskjaer said. "I love working with young, enthusiastic players wanting to learn, wanting to improve.
"I'm looking at the possibilities we can have and the options but the important thing is for me to work with the ones I have because they're such a great bunch of lads.
"I've spoken to most of them and they've all impressed me with their attitude. When you look at them you can see they want to do well for themselves and the club."
