New Barcelona coach Xavi insists every player begins with a clean slate under him.

At his presentation yesterday, Xavi was asked about frozen out defensive pair Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti.

The new coach replied: "I don't know because I haven't seen them, it's our job, everyone starts from zero.

"I'm counting on everyone and then we'll see, it's a question of training and requirements.

"I've seen them sometimes, so they're all starting from scratch."
