New Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov, the Russian billionaire, has told fans that he will make money available for new signings if asked.

Usmanov told the Mail on Sunday: "Buying players is the prerogative of the board of the club. But if the board addresses me as a shareholder for financial support, I'm open to consider all possibilities."
