West Ham United striker Nene is targeting European qualification.
He is determined to help West Ham qualify for Europe and hopes to start linking up with Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia soon.
"They are high-level players," he told the London Evening Standard. "Sakho, just give him the ball and make him run. He is a clever player. Valencia is also an intelligent player and fast. So far, so good. We talk a lot also off the pitch in order to make this partnership improves. I look forward to playing as soon as possible. But I still need to improve physically to play the whole game.
"West Ham have a great history and are a big club. They are doing well in the league, fighting for European football, Europa League and Champions League. My idea was to come back to Europe for playing in a competitive league and there is nothing stronger than the English league. As I have never played here before, I had this goal of playing in this championship."
