Norwich City manager Alex Neil refused to name names when he was quizzed on the club's immediate transfer business.
The Canaries are being heavily linked with early January moves for Everton forward Steven Naismith and Dinamo Zagreb defender Ivo Pinto and although Neil confirmed new players would be arriving at Carrow Road next month, he did not go into specifics.
"We are looking to add to the squad but I will not go into details with specific clubs or players," said Neil.
"We will not be talking about individuals.
"It is always difficult because until things are signed and across the line you can think you are as close as you like but until the paper is signed and the player is in the building then nothing has been made complete."
