Alvaro Negredo's free-scoring form is earning him huge bonuses at Sevilla.
To get his move out of Real Madrid in August, Negredo was forced to take a significant pay-cut, says AS.
Rather than kick up a fuss, Negredo shrugged and said 'okay', so long as his scoring record was tied to major bonus payments. The agreement was struck that he would earn more everytime he scored three goals, from 3 to 6 would earn a pay-rise, 6 to 9 even more, and so on.
Real GM Jorge Valdano said at the time that he had seen very few players who had so much confidence in themselves.
