NEC Nijmegen coach Mario Been is dwelling over a contract offer for former Aberdeen player Richie Byrne.

Byrne was released by Aberdeen at the end of last season and is currently on trial with Dutch Eredivisie outfit NEC. And Been admitting he is unsure about offering the full-back a permanent deal.

"I need some time to think, but someone of his size should be winning more headers," Been told De Gelderlander.
