Winger Jesus Navas has stated that Manchester City will not allow their loss against Everton to affect them too much.
City suffered a 2-1 defeat in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final encounter at Goodison Park on Wednesday and the loss was most certainly a difficult one to take for the Citizens.
Navas who came off the bench ti equalise for the visitors, has revealed his disappointment at the result but has insisted that they will not be dwelling on the loss for too long.
Navas said: "Obviously we wanted to react to the goal they scored before half time and a draw wouldn't have been a bad result.
"The problem is that we conceded a goal straight after I had scored. Now we need to focus on the next game and not get too worried about the result today."
City will now look ahead to Saturday's FA Cup third round clash with Norwich City at Carrow Road.
