National Youth League Grand Final to be shown on pay TV

The inaugural National Youth League Grand Final will be shown on pay TV in what is a major boost for the game. In just the first season, the NYL has been a raging success with many young players making first team debuts and the competition being considerably even and the best two teams will be on show this Saturday at Hindmarsh Stadium.

"It is great news that the Grand Final will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS. It provides a unique opportunity for Australia's young, up and coming players to be seen around the country," Football Federation Australia (FFA) CEO, Ben Buckley, said.

"The National Youth League has proven to be a fantastic pathway for talented players, giving them more opportunity to play quality football and improve their skills and match preparedness week-by-week," he added.

The match between Sydney FC and Adelaide United from Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide will be shown live on Fox Sports 3 this Saturday 21 February from 2:30pm local time (3:00pm AEDT).
