Despite finishing on top of the National Youth League table, Sydney FC will not get a home Grand Final.

The FFA have decided to play the match involving Sydney and Adelaide United as a curtain-raiser to the A-League preliminary final between Adelaide United seniors and Queensland Roar at Hindmarsh Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Fans of Sydney FC believe the match should be played in Sydney as the Sky Blues finished well clear on the top of the table and the rules state that whoever finishes in first position will get a home final.
