Nasri slams Juventus midfielder Pogba: Witchdoctor? What are you doing?

Former Arsenal and Manchester City star Samir Nasri has taken a swipe at Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba over his family feud.

Franceinfo has revealed more details about the extortion case against Pogba, publishing details of the second police hearing of the player, who said that his mother, Yeo Moriba, was also the target of threats at home.

The threats, said Pogba, came from people who said they were protecting her son, "from those who wished him harm". They then asked for 13 million euros from the French international's family.

In this second interrogation, he acknowledged having paid a witchdoctor, but not to injure PSG star Kylian Mbappé, as has been reported, but with the purpose of earning money for a humanitarian association of children in Africa.

Pogba also defended his brother, Mathias, who was involved in the extortion ring, saying he is acting under threat.

However, Nasri isn't convinced and the French pundit said: "Paul Pogba is in contradiction. He is of Muslim faith. If you have to protect yourself from something, you trust in Allah, certainly, and not a witchdoctor.

"When I played for Arsenal, I saw African players who were constantly getting phone calls from their families in Africa. The advice I gave them was to create a structure, a club that would guarantee all their family members a job and a safe place to work.

"I think that is the only way for your family not to cause problems."
