Napoli are watching Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen.

The London Evening Standard says Vertonghen is a summer transfer target for Napoli.

Napoli considered a move for Vertonghen last June, only to decide against making a formal offer but are looking to strengthen their defence in the summer.

The Belgian has been in and out of Mauricio Pochettino's first team this season.
