Everton are closing on a deal for Napoli striker Arek Milik.

Not registered for the Serie A this season, Milik has been planning to leave Napoli in January.

A move to Everton has been mooted and local Naples journalist Umberto Chiariello says the Azzurri should push for the deal to happen.

He said on Canale 21: "If it were true that (Carlo) Ancelotti gives us 11 million (euros) for Milik at Everton, he must be carried in a carriage with a bow!"

Everton manager Ancelotti worked with Milik while Napoli coach.
