Napoli striker Dries Mertens has intimated he is eager to carry on in Naples.

Mertens' contract expires in June.

“They are all beautiful and important," Mertens said, referring to the aspects of life in Naples. “I don't need to add anything else, everyone knows how much I love it.

“When I wake up and see the sea, it's beautiful. The problem will be when I have to move back to Belgium.

“I hope to postpone it for as long as possible. My son will be born in Naples, but we haven't chosen his name yet."
