Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro says they deserve to be considered title contenders.

The Azzurri are just a point off the top of the table after collecting 10 points from five games - including wins over Milan and Inter.

"Winning the League would be the maximum for us, it couldn't get any better," the central defender told Radio CRC.

"With the difficulties of Milan and Inter so far this term, this really could be the right year for us to win the Scudetto."
